Which Camera is better for me to get?
I'm into getting really high quality photos that are just beautiful so I am torn between a Canon Rebel XS 10.1MP Digital Slr Camera with EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens and a Nikon D40 6.1MP Digital SLR Camera Kit with 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED II AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor Lens
They're pretty much the same in terms of image quality - just choose the one you feel more comfortable with. No one can tell you which camera would actually be "better" for you, you have to decide that for yourself. To do that, go into an camera/electronic store and try out both cameras for yourself. See which one is more comfortable in your hands, browse through the menus and see which one is easier to navigate through, and take some test pictures (you'll need your own SD card for this).
The reason why you have to try the cameras out for yourself is because image quality mostly depends on the photographer. The camera and lens are part of it, but the person using them is more important.
