How to use a basic phone for micro laptop (Skype)? Quick 10pts!?

I have no personal computer, but I have a microphone that has links to online telephone, stating its intention to be used as a headset to a telephone base but how can I connect to my laptop even possible? I have a phone port on the back of my laptop Dell Inspiron and Vista, so please help. I need Skype.

It is not possible. You need a special phone to use with Skype VoIP. The phone jack in the back of your laptop modem is no telephone.
