How can you tell if a bolt action rifle has been fired?
I recently bought a FN A5 for $ 1900. They are sold as second hand, but without firing. After further inspection at home, I noticed some wear on parts of the breech. I know it was a test shot 3 times. I felt no solvent when I bought it and the hole was very clean. I cleaned and not get any residue of gunpowder in the cavity, bolts, and the camera. I did not test fire and the sight of my reach, but I wonder if I been duped. I was told that the buyer put it on layaway and then they could not afford. Is there something I can check there skyrocketed over the three rounds of test firing.
